Career Moves are thrilled to be working with an exciting and innovative construction fit out business based in the heart of London.

Reporting directly into the Finance Director, they are looking for a Management Accountant who will coordinate and supervise month-end processes, whilst carry out reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and other ad-hoc tasks.

This is an exceptional role for a qualified accountant to join a growing finance team working for a brilliant organisation!

Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
* Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and forecasts in collaboration with project managers and senior management.
* Reporting on both an individual company level, as well as Group, in order to provide useful analysis to the Board.
* Monitor and control project costs, ensuring expenditures are within budget.
* Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
* Analysis of financial and other data in order to make recommendations and implement methods for increasing a branch or entity’s efficiency and profitability.
* Provision of clear information on both upside and downside risks for an entity’s operation.
* Ownership of the preparation of financial MI from source data
* Analyse, challenge and interrogate stakeholders and systems to understand variances to expectations and emerging trends. Accurate and comprehensive balance sheet maintenance.
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
* Assist the wider finance team in work in progress management, the production of cash forecasts and cash collection.
* Liaise with external statutory accountants and audit team.
* Manages multiple project and bids simultaneously without dropping the ball!

Skills:
* Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with minimum two years Management Reporting experience
* Construction experience or basic knowledge is preferential
* Excellent Xero skills and willingness to master our bespoke commercial software
* Strong commercial acumen with a focus on driving excellent financial and commercial performance
