Job Description: As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and learning of our youngest pupils. You will work closely with the EYFS Teacher to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the planning and delivery of the EYFS curriculum.
* Supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
* Providing one-on-one and small group support to children.
* Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
* Observing and recording children’s progress.
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
* Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
* A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting children’s development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to work.
* An understanding of the EYFS framework.
