Job Description:
Development Manager - .NET, C#, TDD, BDD, Agile - Sought by Solution Provider in the Payment Fraud and Detection market - Permanent - Hybrid - South West London
Salary £100,000
Key Requirements
* Provide technical leadership and support to the development team.
* Oversee the design, development, and implementation of .NET applications across various platforms.
* To define and evolve the development processes, procedures, tools and techniques to ensure delivery.
* To define the development teams’ metrics and measures - and to produce regular meaningful reporting that details the health of the development function
* Perform regular one-on-one team management and formal performance reviews - setting and grading quarterly objectives for each team member
* To drive (where appropriate) a test-driven culture within the business·
* Ensure that the tools and techniques employed by the development teams are kept up to date and are in line with industry best practices - including the use appropriate automation tools to optimise day to day tasks.
* Ensure the technical feasibility and resource availability for all projects.
* Identify and manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans.
* Provide technical leadership and support to the development team.
* Occasional potential travel to customer sites, this might involve overseas travel
