Position: Primary KS1 Teaching Assistant We are seeking highly qualified teaching assistants who can create an engaging and inclusive learning environment while providing tailored support to meet the unique needs of each student. Our client is entrusting us to identify a committed teaching assistant for the LS22 and LS23 areas.
Working with Randstad offers flexibility to accommodate your other commitments. You will also benefit from ongoing support and communication with our dedicated consultants.
Responsibilities: * Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Provide individualised support to students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
* Supervise students during break times and extracurricular activities.
* Assist with classroom management and maintaining discipline.
* Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the wider school community.
Requirements: * Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
* A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in supporting children’s education.
* Basic understanding of child development and educational practices.
* Possession of an Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
* Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
