Job Description:
Band 6 Biochemist
Location: Wales
Contract Type: ASAP till 2 months minimum from start date
Hours: 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct biochemistry analyses using Roche Cobas 6000/8000 systems.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory test results.
* Maintain quality control and participate in quality assurance activities.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide clinical advice.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Biochemistry.
* Extensive experience (3-5 years consecutively) working with Roche Cobas 6000/8000 systems.
* Relevant qualifications in Biochemistry or a related field.
* Registration with appropriate professional bodies, if required.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
