Job Description:
CNC Turner
Gloucester - Permanent -Afternoon shift 15:30-2:00 - Monday-Thursday
Setter Operator - Up to £35k DOE/Programmer circa £40k DOE
The Role:
* CNC machining a variety of components, in a sub-con environment
* Setting and operating of CNC lathes, producing components to tight tolerances, whilst always maintaining high-quality.
* Interpretation and working from detailed technical drawings/specifications and customer samples.
* Experience working with engineering plastics would be beneficial but not essential
The Person:
* Experience setting/operating Lathes
* Experience working in a sub-con environment
* Other turning and milling experience - desirable
* Experience using HAAS and/or Fanuc controls
* Experience with plastics, Alu, Stainless Steel preferred.
* Experience working too tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience with first offs and Competency of using all forms or measuring equipment and gauging techniques.
