Job Description:
Permanent - 40 hours per week
We are currently looking to recruit an Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to join our team working around our sites in the South Wales and West Region with occasional visits to our Cardiff and Bristol regional offices as and when required.
As our Environmental and Sustainability Advisor, you will assist in developing and maintaining best practice, driving standards and monitoring performance against our commitments to environmental and sustainability excellence. You’ll ensure all projects in the region comply with associated environmental legislation, consents, permits, licenses and targets, conduct environmental risk assessments, considering how risks could be reduced, whilst preparing and submitting relevant consents and exceptions.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have previous experience within a similar role, educated to degree level in an environmental field (e.g. Geography, Ecology) and have excellent industry best practice knowledge. Confident in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, you’ll promote a positive environmental culture through proactive engagement and communication with project teams, subcontractors and external stakeholders
