QA Inspector * Annual Salary: £12.87 - £14.80 per hour (higher rate available for candidates with Mitutoyo CMM programming experience)

We are seeking a QA Inspector to join clients fantastic quality team, who will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards through thorough inspections and equipment management. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in manufacturing quality control.
Day-to-day of the role: * Conduct goods inward inspection to ensure all materials meet quality standards.
* Perform in-house inspection and shop floor patrol to monitor ongoing production quality.
* Manage the calibration of internal measuring equipment using external accredited sources.
* Maintain client MNC/CAR registers on customer portals.
* Operate Mitutoyo CMM machine daily, with programming knowledge being advantageous.
* Carry out final inspection and sanity checking of daily shipped parts to guarantee product integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with inspection techniques and quality control processes.
* Ability to use and maintain a variety of measuring and inspection equipment.
* Strong organisational skills to manage equipment calibration schedules.
* Competence in operating CMM machinery.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality standards.
