Job Description:
Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join a Professional Services Company based in Central Bristol. For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive:
Up to £27,000 plus excellent benefits
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Daily recording of all transactions
* Reconciliation of customer accounts
* Maintain customer accounts and ensure timely payment, contacting customers accordingly regarding outstanding debt via phone and email
* Allocation of receipts on the accounting software system
* Maintaining/overseeing online banking
* Monitoring the finance inbox and assisting in replying to/resolving queries in a timely manner
* Ensure financial information is effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders, as required
* Undergo credit checks for new customers
* Produce weekly and monthly debt reports
* Involvement with ad hoc projects
* Other ad hoc finance/administrative tasks as required
Person Specification:
* Experience of working in an accounts receivable/sales ledger/credit control
* Strong communicator and organised
* Good IT skills
* Attention to detail
