Job Description:

The team are seeking an experienced Accountant to join the successful team in Exeter. This role is ideal for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual with a passion for accounting and business development.
Day to day of the role: * Perform and manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, vehicle creditors and debtors, bank reconciliations, and stocking loans.
* Prepare and manage budgets, providing monthly and daily figures to management to track target progress.
* Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts, including balance sheets and cash flow statements, to provide insights into business performance.
* Handle Payroll processing, PAYE, and HMRC submissions.
* Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for business growth and profitability.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards, including preparing for financial audits.
* Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * ACCA, ACA, AAT4 or similar professional qualification, or working towards it.
* Proven experience in accounting roles.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
