Job Description:
Head of Cyber Security - Birmingham / Liverpool / Dublin - £100,000 + package
We are recruiting a Head of Cyber Security to join a growing business who are in the midst of a Technology Transformation programme. The business has grown and grown through acquisition and IT and Security has been left behind and now needs to be brought up to scratch for a business their size. With this means it’s pretty much greenfield from a cyber landscape and we need a "safe pair of hands" to come on board and take full responsibility for Information Security and build a function from scratch.
We need someone who can be very much hands on to start with, budgets are limited and headcount won’t be massive for the first few years so you will need to be a doer.
Required experience:
* Proven track record of building / leading IT Security functions taking full responsibility & accountability.
* Leadership experience, working closely with senior stakeholders.
* CISSP or CISM certified.
* ISO27001 & Cyber Essentials.
* Ability to work in a small team and roll your sleeves up in the early days.
* Demonstratable "been there done that" experience and gravitas to be able to win over stakeholders.
* Must be happy travelling across UK when required.
You can be based out of any of the above locations but the role will be largely remote with probably once a week at either site.
