Responsibilities:
* Financial Operations: Manage AP, AR, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
* Month-End Closing: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Cash Flow: Implement effective cash flow management strategies.
* Cost Optimisation: Identify and drive efficiency improvements.
* Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to streamline processes.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and policies.
* Strategy Development: Contribute to financial strategies and forecasts.
* Financial Analysis: Provide insights to support decision-making.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Interface with external stakeholders, auditors, and financial institutions.
* Payroll & Invoices: Prepare payroll reports and maintain the invoice register.
Requirements:
* Expertise: Strong understanding of AP, AR, bank reconciliation, invoicing, month-end processes, and cash flow management.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in financial software and MS Excel; experience with Sage Intacct is required.
* Analytical Ability: Translate financial data into actionable insights.
* Detail-Oriented: Commitment to accuracy and compliance.
* Communication: Effective collaboration skills.
* Leadership: Proactive, hands-on financial management approach.
Benefits:
* Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
* Bonus: 10% annual bonus
