HOUSING AFTER SALES CONSULTANT

* Salary:  £35,500 - £38,000 per annum
One of the biggest housing associations in the UK is looking for a dedicated Housing After Sales Consultant to provide an exceptional service in the progression and completion of staircasing and equity loan activities. The successful candidate will ensure a professional experience for all stakeholders, meeting targets and delivering within agreed timescales.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Achieve weekly and monthly targets for equity loan and staircasing completions.
* Handle customer enquiries professionally, displaying in-depth product knowledge.
* Read and interpret leases/equity mortgages, providing effective advice to customers and stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records using database and case management systems.
* Prepare audit-compliant application packs, conduct checks on shared owners, and follow anti-money laundering procedures.
* Manage staircasing/equity loans caseloads effectively, striving to meet or exceed targets.
* Support customers throughout the process, keeping them informed and advising on procedures.
* Develop weekly reports on activities and progression, ensuring performance standards and compliance.
* Stay updated with technical product knowledge and relevant legislation.
* Ensure strict compliance with GDPR and best practice in handling customer data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Ability to interpret shared ownership leases and a broad knowledge of the staircasing process and equity mortgages.
* Understanding of FCA & AML regulations.
* Ability to interpret financial assessments and a broad understanding of the mortgage market.
* Exceptional customer service skills and proven track record in service delivery
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Proficient in stakeholder management and influencing.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
* Competent in using a broad range of IT systems.
* Educated to GCSE level C or equivalent work experience.
* Practical knowledge of shared ownership products and money laundering regulations.
