JSS Finance are excited to be partnering with a well known Retail business in Leicester who are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team.
As the Accounts Payable Manager you will be working alongside the Financial Controller to ensure payment runs are carried out accurately and month end closes on time.

As the Accounts Payable Manager you will be offered an annual salary of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience plus a number of fantastic benefits including study support, staff discounts and more.
Key responsibilities:
* Train, coach, develop and support a team of Purchase Ledger Clerks and support with future hiring/team growth plans
* Participate in month end reporting, preparing and owning balance sheet
* Prepare reports for the Financial Controller and CFO
* Take ownership of several brands, controlling the relationship with their finance teams
* Assist with the preparation of annual reports
* Take ownership of the fixed asset register
Key requirements:
* At least 3 years’ experience working within a Senior Accounts Payable role
* Experience working within a large, fast paced business is preferred
* Ability to work well and quickly under pressure
* Hands on, approachable manager who can proactively self-manage tasks
