Key Responsibilities as an Infrastructure Architect
* Technical architecture of the hosting infrastructure necessary for supporting physical and virtual machines, virtual app/desktop infrastructure.
* Specification of small/medium footprint hosting infrastructure to accommodate hundreds of end-users who are accessing applications presented using virtual desktop and/or virtual applications hosted on this infrastructure.
* Articulate the infrastructure architecture, key aspects and design decisions etc, to a range of audiences.
Core Experience and Skills
* Private/hybrid cloud architecture, VMware and/or Microsoft virtualisation and public cloud Azure.
* Taking a lead from our existing proven designs while being able to propose and articulate clearly any necessary changes required specific to the project/solutions’ requirements.
* VOIP
* Defence or Cross Domain Solutions.
