Job Description:
Position: Targeted Support Worker
Location: Shepton Mallet
Contract: Fixed Term until March 2025
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, normally 8am - 5pm
Salary: £24,500 per annum
P4 Recruitment are currently working with a charity dedicated to making a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Target Support Worker to join our team in Shepton Mallet. This role involves providing guidance and assistance to vulnerable tenants with complex needs, particularly those with a history of rough sleeping. The main focus will be to establish and maintain strong personal connections with tenants, aiming to enhance engagement, overcome obstacles, and prevent tenancy breaches.
Key Responsibilities: * Offer personalized support and guidance to vulnerable tenants.
* Establish and maintain strong personal connections with tenants.
* Help tenants overcome obstacles to maintain their tenancies.
* Work towards preventing tenancy breaches through proactive engagement.
* Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to provide comprehensive support.
* Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and support plans.
Requirements:
* Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Experience working with vulnerable adults, especially those with complex needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
