Job Description:
Project Manager- Higher Education- Change/Transformation
Project Manager, ideally with experience of supporting change within an academic/higher education environment is urgently required to support our higher education client to introduce a new academic framework.
This initiative aims to introduce a new academic framework, essential for enhancing student outcomes and the institution’s long-term sustainability.
The Project Manager will be tasked with developing a business case, PIDS, benefits and associated documentation whilst supporting the implementation or programme governance for the organisation.
Project Manager- Higher Education- Change/Transformation- Essential Experience
* Experience of supporting large cross-institutional change/transformation projects within a Higher Education/academic environment.
* Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (CMA, OfS).
* Extensive project & programme management experience leading at a senior portfolio or programme or project level within a complex environment.
* Experience of using formal programme and project management methodologies (PRINCE2, DSDM, MSP).
* Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, and benefit realisation.
* Experience of managing multiple major projects through the full lifecycle from initiation and planning through to operational readiness and handover.
* Capability to develop a business case, PIDS, benefits and project & programme documents.
* Excellent senior stakeholder skills with the ability to provide comprehensive stakeholder management whilst work collaboratively with stakeholders to lead and deliver projects, balancing competing demands and managing expectations to achieve the strategic goals.
* Experience of working in higher education, ideally within an academic change capacity.

* Knowledge of University’s academic cycle, funding and regulations
* Knowledge of current and emerging project management, benefits realisation and change management trends
4 Month initial contract with scope to extend- Outside of IR35
Remote with some on site days when needed/flexible
