* £65,000 - £75,000 P/Annum
* Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (some flexibility to meet work demand)

The Role - Head of People & Development:
* Develop the people plans for central aligned with the organisational strategy
* Create and update people policies
* Review and implement effective People teams and structures for the central functions
* Work in partnership with the Group Head of L&D to ensure the right development and succession plans are in place for the central teams
* building effective high-performance teams/structures delivering to budget and the company strategy
* Ensures the group operates within the requirements of employment law and ethical policy at all times
* Provides a professional advisory service that gives effective solutions to people
* Ensure effective employee representative groups in place that are legally compliant and support positive employee relations
* Develop engagement plans
* Work with the Occupational Health resource
What we are looking for in an Head of People & Development:
* Previous experience working in a Head of HR, HR Lead, Head of People role - ESSENTIAL
* CIPD Level 7 - DESIREABLE
* CIPD Level 5 - ESSENTIAL
* Experience of food manufacturing industry - DESIREABLE
* Change Management Process Knowledge - ESSENTIAL
* Coaching and Mentoring a team experience - ESSENTIAL
* Exceptional Communication Skills 
* Must be able to travel to their site in Kent approximately once per month
