Treasury Supervisor (Hybrid)

Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00 (35 hours per week)

I am recruiting for a Treasury Supervisor on behalf of my client in the education sector. This permanent role seeks a candidate with strong leadership skills, treasury experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in an education finance function is a plus.

The main purpose of this role is to support the Treasury and Commercial Manager by managing two treasury analysts, ensuring the timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly treasury activities. The role involves handling all treasury reporting and supporting month-end activities, purchasing, and journal entries.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage treasury analysts, mailbox, and team meetings.
- Lead by example and promote continuous improvement.
- Set and manage team objectives, develop training materials, and ensure cross-training.
- Improve cash and treasury policies.
- Act as the main contact for Accounts Payable/Receivable and operational banks.
- Manage banking and money market platforms.
- Prepare and supervise bank and month-end reconciliations.
- Calculate/post monthly interest accrual and assist with bond interest payments.
- Collate and validate information for external submissions and financial reporting.
- Prepare weekly cash reports and ensure financial covenant compliance.
- Provide auditor information and maintain the Finance Office register.
- Undertake additional duties as required.

Essential:
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Detailed knowledge of finance procedures and treasury management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a high-volume finance environment and team management.

Desirable:
- Part-qualified or qualified by experience in accounting.
- Experience with Agresso accounting software and in a treasury role.
