Private Equity Real Estate Asset Management role with a well established and high performing global firm. Hands-on strategic asset management, business planning, asset re-positioning and heavy redevelopment.

Our client has over three decades of experience in delivering opportunistic returns against value-add investment deals across 8 regions globally. Rare opportunity to join the team as they grow the business organically in the UK, providing excellent opportunities for progression as the fund structures increase. Whilst being a sector-agnostic Real Estate specialist (£20-£200m tickets), they have significant track-record delivering value-add / redevelopment projects in Offices and Logistics. In addition, they have transacted land / development, Residential Master-planning and Strategic Land. In recent funds they have also acquired and managed Data centres, Life-Sciences, Big-Box Retail, PBSA and BtR.
Description
* The Real Estate Asset Manager will be a key member of the team, writing and implementing asset business plans.
* Involvement and input at acquisition, re-development phases, leasing, value creation / asset management during the hold period as well as assisting during disposal phases.
* The Real Estate Asset Manager will be involved with day-to-day portfolio management, optimising asset income, performance and capital value and will be a key point of contact with all Tenants.
* Working closely with and supporting the Investment team during deal screening and due diligence, assisting to ensure all new investment opportunities are viable from a value-add perspective.
* Support the production of investment committee materials, assisting with quarterly reporting and asset performance monitoring.
* Work across the fund, on multiple assets and portfolios at any one time - both on a granular and over-arching level.
Profile
The successful Real Estate Asset Manager will have:
* High-grade / GPA in a Real Estate (or associated Built Environment) degree from a top-tier university.
* MRICS qualification highly desirable.
* Prior experience in a principal-led Asset Management position, having already worked in a PE Real Estate or Investment / Asset management business.
* Ability to read and manipulate excel models / schedules, ensuring all asset and tenancy data is correct and correlates across the fund.
* Hands-on UK Real Estate experience.
* Demonstrable track-record in value-add / true value-creation across multiple asset classes in a variety of UK locations.
* Ability to work and enjoy a fast-paced environment with significant work-flow and UK travel.
* Well-developed presentation and communication skills are essential.
* Ability to work independently and with a tight-knit team as well as being an integral member of selected project teams.
