Warehouse Operative

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operator who is looking for a varied role within a manufacturing and engineering environment? Do you have a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence? We are working with a leadingmanufacturingorganisation who are looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Operative who can join a small team who are responsible for the smooth running of the warehouse operations.

Job Description

* Accepting stock and deliveries, including checking packages for signs of damage
* Booking goods in and out on the computer systems
* Using a forklift truck to load and unload goods.
* Following procedures for processing all non-conforming goods or returns, as required
* Following picking lists and entering data into warehouse databases
* Packing and wrapping items and preparing stock with shipping labels for dispatch
* Communicating daily with carriers, organising shipments and dealing with any problems

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

* Experience working in a Warehouse carrying out a similar role described in the job description
* Must have a valid or transferable Counterbalance Forklift licence
* Must have a full UK driving licence
