Reed Engineering are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician needed in Reading, Berkshire for a full-time role. The successful candidate will assist with daily maintenance tasks and reactive repairs  in a hospital setting. Responsibilities also include Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), general repairs, and participation in an on-call rota.
Day to Day of the role:
* Assist with daily maintenance tasks and reactive repairs.
* Maintain and update décor throughout the hospital when required.
* Undertake PPM and general repairs.
* Participate in an on-call rota one week in four.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Utilise fault-finding skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
* Work well under pressure and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
* Tradesperson or maintenance engineer experience
* Entry-level City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent
* Understanding of Health and Safety regulations
* Good fault-finding skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Full clean driving license
