Purchase Ledger Assistant
Are you a numbers whizz with a keen eye for detail?
We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our clients hands on team. This role involves a variety of tasks, including checking and processing invoices, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Checking emails and printing invoices
* Verifying invoices against purchase orders and weighbridge data
* Coding and processing invoices in Sage
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Collaborating with colleagues across the business
* Answering phone calls and dealing with supplier queries
* Ad hoc duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Assistant or in a similar finance role
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Sage (training provided on their systems)
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* A team player with a positive attitude
