About the client
The Management Recruitment Group is seeking a General Manager for an established elderly care provider in London.
Accountabilities
* Responsible for providing oversight to this organisations care home operations
* Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance in accordance with CQC
* Provision of financial oversight and management of budgets
* Ensure the highest quality of care to residents
* Team leadership and development within the care home including SMT, nurses and other care professionals
* Responsible for the day-to-day running of all aspects of this organisations care home
* Responsible for ensuring the care home is maintained from an FM and repairs and building compliance/safety perspective
* Provide first-class customer service to residents of the care home
* Management of performance, KPI’s, data, income and cost
* Work closely with HR, finance as marketing and comms teams
* Lead on external activities such as external events and conferences
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a general manager within an elderly care setting
* Experience leading teams
* Commercial/financial acumen
* High-level customer/resident engagement experience
* Ideally a qualification related to care
