Job Description:
Salary: Circa £60,000 (depending on skills & experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Working hours: We are happy to consider full or part time candidates for this position
Location: Home-based, with occasional travel to Peterborough / Huntingdon offices for meetings, and for site visits/stakeholder meetings in Norfolk &/or Lincolnshire.

As part of our innovative Water Resources Management Plan 2024, we are spearheading ground-breaking projects in desalination to address long-term water demand.
Your role:
As a Future Resources Environmental Lead, you will play a pivotal role in steering these innovative projects. Your responsibilities will include:?
* Providing strategic oversight and guidance for the early development of desalination.

* Producing environmental scopes for tender, reviewing and evaluating proposals, and approving technical outputs.

* Leading steering groups and engaging with international consultants and suppliers to incorporate best practices and innovation into our programme.

* Collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups, including regulatory bodies, to drive sustainable and optimal solutions for desalination.

What does it take to be an Environmental Lead?
* You will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.

* You will have proven experience in planning/delivering Environmental Assessments for infrastructure projects, particularly HRA & WFD.

* You will have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups.

* You will be a self-starter and motivated to make a difference

* Experience/knowledge of desalination and water resources planning is highly beneficial but not essential.
