Description
* Processing invoices and credit notes.
* Reconciling supplier statements to the ledger.
* Dealing with supplier queries promptly and efficiently.
* Liaising with other departments to resolve any discrepancies.
* Adhering to all financial regulations and company policies.
* Assisting the wider finance team as required.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
* A strong understanding of purchase ledger processes.
* A strong interest in getting into accounts/finance industry
* Completed further finance and accounts studies
* Excellent numerical and data entry skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* The ability to work well as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
