We are recruiting on behalf of a leading company, committed to delivering exceptional service and quality to their valued customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic and organised Service Supervisor to join their team to help maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Position overview of the Service Coordinator:
The Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring that customer enquiries and service requests are handled promptly and efficiently. This role involves coordinating with customers and engineers to schedule and complete service jobs, as well as maintaining accurate records of all activities.

Key Responsibilities of the Service Co-ordinator role:

* Answer incoming calls from customers and dealing with accordingly
* Schedule and book service jobs, ensuring timely and efficient allocation of resources.
* Assign and dispatch engineers to service jobs, optimising schedules to meet customer needs and maximise productivity.
* Monitor and ensure the timely completion of all service work, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
* Log and update all service-related information in the company database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Act as a liaison between customers and engineers, facilitating clear communication and resolving any issues that arise.
* Maintain and update service records, preparing reports as needed for management review.
* Continuously seek ways to improve service delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction.

The ideal Service Co-ordinator candidate will have the following:

* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a mechanical or automotive background.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
