Job Description:
Axon Moore are supporting a reputable retail business based in Yorkshire in the appointment an Interim Finance Director.
The successful candidate will be positioned in a highly visible role across the Group and will support the Group Finance Director in driving the performance of the business.
The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:
* Supporting the CEO with setting and executing the financial strategy
* Managing the finance operation including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and monthly accounts
* Cash flow management
* Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards including tax, audit and reporting requirements.
* Manage the relationships with external stakeholders
* Monitor and challenge business performance
* Support other non- financial areas of the business such as operations, health and safety and HR
The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:
* Qualified Finance Leader (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a similar FD or CFO role within the retail sector
* Able to manage cross- functional stakeholder relationships
