Roofers Mate

We are currently working on behalf of a public sector client to recruit to a Roofers Mate on an intial temporary basis, working across Manchester
Responsibilities of the Roofers Mate includes:
* Carrying out all aspects of labouring and semi-skilled activities surrounding roofing, and other trades when required
* Assisting with aspects of roofing work including general repairs, maintenance and refurbishment
* Working on large scale pitched roofs, flat roofs and chimney stack demolitions
* Assisting with gutter and soffit works when required
* Ensuring adherence to health and safety
* Booking in follow up works
* Ordering appropriate materials
* Utilising a PDA
Requirements of the Roofers Mate includes:
* Previous experience as a roofers mate (desirable)
* Knowledge and experience of working at heights (essential)
