Business Development Manager
£30-40k (OTE £55k)
Eaton Syalon are partnering with Kata Tipis, a premier manufacturer of event tipis based in Stamford, Lincolnshire to hire a Business Development . Kata Tipis specialise in creating stunning, high-quality tipis for a wide range of events, from weddings to corporate functions. They are passionate about delivering exceptional products and services to their clients, ensuring events are truly memorable. Having gone on an incredible growth journey over the last few years they are looking for a talented Business Development professional to join them on this next stage of their growth.
As Business Development Manager within a small team you be responsible for proactive business development to identify market growth opportunities and manage all aspects of the sales process through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development/Sales
* Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth.
* Identify and target new markets, partnerships, and business opportunities.
* Collaborate with marketing to develop effective sales and promotional materials.
* Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to represent Kata Tipis and generate leads.
* Monitor and analyse market trends to identify potential areas for growth and innovation.
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and online research.
* Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Sales Administration
* Manage and process sales orders from initial enquiry through to delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and order details in our CRM system.
* Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
* Prepare sales reports and analyse data to inform sales strategies.
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
What you will need:
We are keen to attract a candidate with proven business development experience (events or manufacturing would be preferable), and a well developed understanding of applying sales techniques and building exceptional stakeholder relationships. You will enjoy owning a process, from the initial contact to all related support and administration. You will need to be goal orientated, have well developed interpersonal skills, and enjoy working independently to develop potential client/customer relationships using a range of sales techniques. You will also be proficient in using a CRM & MS Office. As this role requires travel you will also need to hold a clean driving licence.

Competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 with OTE of £55,000.
