Distribution Coordinator    

Milton Keynes

£26,000 per annum – 37.5 hours per week

Our globally known client based in Milton Keynes are currently seeking a Distribution Coordinator to join their forward-thinking and enthusiastic team.

The successful candidate will responsible for executing reports and systematic functions for the EMEA region to maximise inventory and operational opportunities.

Working closely with the operations team, the successful candidate will liaise with 3PL partners and complete duties such as preparation of customs documents and liaise with various internal departments.

The successful candidate will have prior supply chain and distribution experience, preferably within EMEA.

Key Duties:

* Liaise between the business and its 3PL partners, with operational tasks for wholesale and ecommerce distribution
* Preparing customs entry docs for consignments in and out the UK
* Maintain DC operational reports
* Maintain system reports to ensure stock integrity
* Maintain Operations Team Reports
* PO updates and maintenance for inbound PO’s to ensure accurate information is visible for the EMEA business
* Supporting Inbound distribution centre planning and order requirements
* Completing carrier bookings for all Key Accounts timed delivery windows
* Working with Customer Relations Team to complete carrier bookings
* General day to day tasks to support the smooth running of the Operations team


Skills & Experience:

* Previous experience in Supply Chain or Distribution is essential.
* Able to think and act cross-functionally as well as communicate consistently with the
* needs of the business
* Must be familiar with a major MRP system (Preferably SAP)
* Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels of staff and outside customers /suppliers
* Understand the order entry process of distinct product categories, and the impact on global production.
* Highly organized with good time management.
* Demonstrate proactive problem solving and a sense of urgency and persistence
* Influencing, negotiating skills.
* Resilient and resourceful.
* Ability to identify and implement effective cost-saving measures to improve our financial performance
