Business Development Manager
Construction Industry selling into Major Housebuilders
Location: Wokingham (field and office-based)
Salary: upto £50,000
UK manufacturer of landscaping products requires a Business Development Manager to look after and develop end-user accounts. End users are major housebuilders, their gardening and landscaping contractors, and, to a lesser extent, the Tier One civil engineering contractors.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have sales experience selling products to housebuilders and subcontractors and be a polished and proven sales professional.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager
* Identify and secure new business opportunities with major housebuilders and their subcontractors.
* Develop and maintain relationships with developers and key clients
* Prepare and present persuasive tender proposals
* Monitor market trends and competitor movements
* Manage and grow existing client accounts
In Return, You Will Receive
* Basic salary of up to £50,000
* £85,000 OTE (Realistic)

Requirements to be the Business Development Manager
* Minimum three years B2B sales experience within the construction industry
* Demonstratable track record in tender selling and contract acquisition
* Excellent relationship-building and networking skills
* In-depth knowledge of the construction market in southern England
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
* Willingness to travel within the South of England
The successful candidate will be ambitious, results-driven, and able to work independently both in the field and office environments.
