Job Description:
As a Finance Officer in the public sector, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance department with their daily operations in Liverpool.

Description
* Assisting in the preparation of budgets
* Managing records and receipts
* Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
* Preparing balance sheets
* Processing invoices
* Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
* Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required
* Participating in quarterly and annual audits
Profile
A successful Finance Officer should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
* A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
* Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
* Proficiency in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
* Excellent organisational skills
