In this role you will:
* Develop, implement and maintain data driven solutions to assist the businesses in achieving profit and growth targets
* Provide support and expert advice to business areas where queries arise regarding risk strategies, acting as an ambassador of risk analytics.
* Manage a team of individuals working on an array of projects, taking responsibility for coaching, developing and identifying training for the team.
* Identify, test and promote new tools, techniques and data sources to enhance analytics capability and provide competitive advantage
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* Previous working experience leading a team of Credit Risk Analyst
* Experience in the planning and shaping of a number of major analytic projects across the bank
* Experience in developing profitable analytic solutions to business / credit problems using credit assessment / management methodologies.
* Advanced knowledge in SAS, Excel and PowerPoint
* Demonstrate commercial credit skills, not only on a transaction basis but also credit process management.
* A proven history of leadership and stakeholder management at all levels
