Children’s Registered Manager Location: Guildford
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
Future Salary: Up to £80,000 as a Dual Registered Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children’s Registered Manager to oversee one or two 3-bed EBD homes in Guildford. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to progress into a dual registered position, with a salary increase to up to £80,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily operations of the home(s), ensuring a safe, nurturing, and compliant environment.
* Lead and develop the staff team, fostering a culture of excellence, resilience, and continuous improvement.
* Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans, promoting the health, education, and well-being of each child.
* Ensure compliance with all Ofsted regulations and standards, preparing for and participating in inspections.
* Work collaboratively with children, families, local authorities, and other stakeholders to meet the children’s needs and ensure their voices are heard.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations.
* Promote safeguarding and child protection, ensuring a safe environment for all children.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting.
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including safeguarding and child protection.
* Effective leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and maintaining a motivated and high-performing team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
* Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
* Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle with business insurance.
