Job Description:
Are you an ambitious, confident and creative Marketing Generalist, looking to join a business who genuinely care for their staff?
As the Marketing and Fundraising Coordinator
, you will join and support the busy team, engaging in a variety of exciting projects, including digital and social media initiatives, supporting fundraising activities, and coordinating the execution of marketing and fundraising plans. This is a hands-on role offering a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and creative environment.
Main duties:
* Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and content creation.
* Coordinate the production of marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and promotional collateral.
* Manage and update the charity’s website and social media channels to ensure content is current and engaging.
* Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using analytics tools.
* Support the planning and execution of fundraising events and activities.
* Assist in the management and development of fundraising campaigns.
* Maintain accurate records of donors and fundraising activities using the charity’s CRM system.
* Support the organisation and execution of events.
* Attend industry events to represent the charity and build relationships with key stakeholders and potential supporters.
* Assist in budget tracking and ensure that marketing and fundraising activities are cost-effective.
* Attend and participate in events, team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Candidate requirements:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a marketing role.
* Deep knowledge of what works on socials.
* Demonstrable experience of marketing software (e.g. Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Canva, Premier Pro).
* Passionate about all things marketing.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
