A great opportunity to join a leading railway provider as a Commercial Insight Analyst
THE COMPANY
The business is a leading British train operating company offering rail services across predominantly the Southwestern regions of England. And the company are undergoing a period of rapid growth in which they are looking to enhance their data capabilities. This has now led to them seeking to hire a Commercial Insights Analyst to join their Commercial Revenue Team.
As a Commercial Insights Analyst, you will engage with key stakeholders across the business and use your analysis skills to shape the businesses understanding of it’s customers and needs.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Producing revenue reports to meet business requirements, focus on providing insight into business reporting
* Conducting ad-hoc analysis to evaluate impact of external and internal issues
* Undertaking research into markets, revenue growth or products
* Explaining trends and leading to actionable initiatives to drive revenue growth
* Deliver analysis and insight for forecasting and budgeting
* Help to develop revenue models and liaise with stakeholders across the business
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Strong technical experience in SQL and Data Visualisation
* Proven track record providing and delivering commercial insights (also experience in marketing preferred)
* Educated to university level or equivalent in STEM degree subject
