Our client is a long established business based in East London. They are looking for a Financial Controller to help drive the business through its next phase of evolution.
Based in East London and role is on site 5 days per week
Full time, permanent on site. Mon - Fri 09:00 - 17:30
Salary £65 - 75,000 plus bonus and private health care
25 days paid holiday plus public and bank holidays
Experience in the financial, manufacturing or commodities industries would be a significant advantage.
Assignment Details

* Take responsibility for ensuring that the financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively
* Responsibility for maintaining statutory records for the business
* Preparation of all consolidated Statutory Accounts
* Budget preparation
* Review of all management a CV ccounts packs
* Managing transactional team and overseeing/reviewing sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll, cash posting and all general ledger entries.
* Handling VAT, PAYE and Tax duties, including corporation tax.
* Liaise with auditors and preparing audit packs
* Project management of process changes and implementations
Skills Required
The position requires an experienced FC who comes from a background in SME’s and enjoys working as part of a fast-paced, high-growth team.
* 7+ years’ professional experience in a senior Finance position, managing a Finance team.
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
* Good understanding of PAYE and VAT
* Exceptional staff management background
* Minimum of two years experience at Financial Controller level
* Excellent communicator
* Project management
* Proven ability of working under pressure;
* Strong IT skills
