Toolmaker
Location: Hutton, Brentwood, Essex
Rate: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour, plus overtime at time and a half
Start Date: Immediate
Shift: 39 hours over 4 Days Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday
Hours: 7.00am - 5.15pm
Precision Engineering Company based in the Brentwood area is currently looking for a skilled Toolmaker to join their team. The successful candidate will work as a key member of the team and have the opportunity to develop a long, successful career with the organisation. You will be Machining Precision Parts for the pharmaceutical Industry.
Suitable applicants will be able to work on their own initiative, understanding engineering drawings, be able to operate a range of manual mills; lathes and grinders, and work well within the team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Set and operate Conventional Lathes, Milling Machines and Grinders.
* Bench Fitting.
* Work to very tight tolerance and to a very high standard.
* Ability to read and interpret engineers drawings
* Make adjustment and offsets on machine tools
* Inspection of own work
* Some tooling maintenance
