A Specialist Distribution company are looking for a talented Transport Supervisor to join their busy team in the Manchester locality.

The Transport Supervisor will assist and support in day-to-day duties Regional Manager in the area of delivery network from beginning to end, including route management help, driver management and van maintenance supervision.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Regional Manager in controlling route management
* Assist with van servicing and repairs
* Ensure delivery routes are maintained
* Assist with training and assessments of new drivers
* Work alongside the Management and Customer Service team on and issues and queries
* Assist with van fleet checks and carrying out regular checks of van bodyworks
Skills Required:
* Experience in a Transport Supervisor/Manager position
* Good organisational skills
* Strong communication skills
* Experience in Van driving
* Van mechanical knowledge (not essential)
* Forklift License (not essential)
Working Hours:
The working hours for this role are between 4:30am - 2:00pm Mondays & Tuesday, 4:430am - 1:00pm Wednesday & Thursday, 6:00am - 12:00pm Fridays.
