Pertemps are working with a leading production specialist that stands out as a beacon of excellence in precision engineering. With a commitment to quality, our client is highly recognised across various industries, including aerospace, oil & gas, nuclear, and automotive.

CNC Turner Duties;
- Programme, set and operate CNC machines.
- Produce high quality machined parts in accordance with work instructions and drawings.
- Ensuring that all specifications, quality expectations and inspection requirements are understood prior to       commencing jobs.
- Complete NCR form for all non-conforming parts produced.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area, ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are followed and that   any concerns or issues are reported.
- Ensure machinery and equipment meet expectations and that any maintenance requirements are reported at   the earliest opportunity.
- Work as part of the team to support colleagues as well as the needs of the business, with a focus on  continuous improvements.

CNC Turner Requirements;
- Strong mechanical knowledge and an understanding of CNC turning processes.
- Understanding of FANUC controllers and their functions in CNC 2 axis lathes.
- Familiarity with materials handling, with the machining of exotic materials an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work to specifications.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools for machine setup and maintenance.
- Ability to understand and use all types of measuring equipment.

CNC Turner Package;
- This is a full time, permanent position
- Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:45pm and Friday 8am – 3:30pm
- £16 - £18 per hour depending on experience
- 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
- On-site parking.
