Finance Manager
Huddersfield - Hybrid 3 days office-based.
£42,000pa DoE

Agility is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations. Working closely with the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, cost management, and risk management.

Role Responsibilities
* Financial Planning and Analysis
* Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis
* Lead the monthly outsourced payroll process, including pensions.
* Lead the month-end process to final draft format, including the preparation of the accounts pack.
* Support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
* Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting key drivers and variances.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve financial performance.
* Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and performance reviews to business unit leaders.
* Closely monitor the company’s cash flow, including cash reserves and forecasted cash needs.
* Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes to ensure timely collections
* Optimize working capital and manage liquidity effectively.
* Identify financial risks and opportunities within business units
Qualifications
* ACCA / CIMA
* Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
* Proficiency in Sage and Xero accounting software and Excel
