Property Assistant - NW London (office based) - Up to £32,500
My client is a traditional, well established, independent "family feel" managing agent based in North West London (NW4).
They oversee a well-run portfolio of blocks and estates comprising high-profile buildings in prime locations together with new-build flats, mansion blocks and private estates, many of which have full time staff based on site.
Having experienced steady growth as a result of the directors hands on approach, they now require a Property Assistant with 1-2 years leasehold experience to assist the director in the block management department as follows:
* Working office based, Mon-Fri in NW4 (no hybrid working)
* Liaising with clients, residents, contractors and on-site staff, as required.
* Assisting with service charge budget preparation
* Seeking quotations and issuing instructions for work (including upgrades for H&S / Fire Safety)
* Raising and authorising invoices for payment.
* Submitting and dealing with insurance claims
* Arranging meetings, preparing the required paperwork and booking venues if required.
* Visiting estates periodically to check condition / oversee work
The suitable Property Assistant will come from a stable career background, have the ability to work under pressure, a polite telephone manner, can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and a good sense of humour, as well as a good general understanding of Leasehold Management.
The successful Property Assistant can expect a starting salary up to £32,500 with ongoing training and progression.
