SF Recruitment are working with an exciting business based in Birmingham, for the recruitment of an ambitious Financial Accounting Manager.

The Business is looking for a forward thinking, ambitious and highly motivated individual to join the Finance team and support the Financial Controller to drive the business forward.
Working closely with the FC, duties of the role will include:

- Prepare and submit statutory financial statements across in compliance with UK GAAP
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the Finance team with the monthly management accounts undertaking lease accounting, Bad Debt Provision and similar calculations.
- Preparation of monthly cash flow statements
- Ensuring key Balance Sheet accounts reconcile during the Month end process.
- Dealing with financial queries as and when raised
- Liaise with both Internal and External Audit for mid year and year end group and statutory audits.

To be considered for this role you will have an entrepreneurial nature and will have demonstrated clear value add activities in the companies you’ve worked at previously.

You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), and seeking opportunity in a fast paced, dynamic, profitable business where you will really be able to grow and develop the role as this division grows.
