Trust & Estate Manager
Salary: £55k + DOE + Great company benefits
Location: Eastbourne
Hours: Full Time Mon -Fri 8.45 - 17.30 -would also consider 31 hours per week

Do you want to work for a well-established and highly reputable organisation that offer a proactive, friendly and professional working environment based out of their modern offices based in Eastbourne.
You will already have a proven background in dealing with Trusts, Estates and Private Client Tax, in either a capacity of a Solicitor or an Accountant. My client is happy to give training in some areas as required.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the preparation of trust accounts, tax returns IHT forms.
* Dealing with trust administration, such as TRS and CRS for both trusts that my client are trustees for and where they are the primary contact on behalf of the trustees.
* Reviewing trust tax returns and accounts prepared by other team members and provide feedback and training where necessary.
* Assisting with estate administration estate files.
* Preparing accounts, tax returns and IHT forms, legal statements and other related documents.
* Communicating with beneficiaries, executors and third parties during the administration.
* Preparation of personal Self-Assessment tax returns.
* Review personal tax returns prepared by others.
* Support the Partner with technical tax research, drafting reports and letters of tax advice.
* Dealing with internal technical queries for Partners and Managers in relation to estates and trusts.
* Maintaining and updating the workflow for your own portfolio.
* Monthly review to ensure regular billing on all aspects of the client portfolio.
The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:
* Proven background within Trusts and Estates Management.
* Strong technical knowledge and able to train junior members of staff.
* Maintaining and continuing development of technical knowledge in all relevant technical areas.
* Highly level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and organisation skills.
* Great IT skills inclusive of Word, Excel and using different IT platforms/CRM systems.
* Track record in leading and motivating a team.
