Role Overview:
As the Interim Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and support for decision-making processes. You will work closely with senior management to provide insights and recommendations that will drive the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
* Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing detailed analysis and input.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
* Oversee cash flow management and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and projects.
* Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
* Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is essential.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
* Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
