T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an exciting automotive manufacturing business to help them to recruit a Parts Expeditor.
As the Parts Expeditor you will act as an important link between the supply chain and internal manufacturing teams, ensuring that all deliveries and materials arrive on time.
Key Responsibilities as a Parts Expeditor
* Clearly understand the material requirement dates for multiple products/programmes, ensuring build start dates are achieved.
* Monitoring and confirming supplier order acknowledgements.
* Challenging supplier delivery delays in order to bring delivery dates back in line with the material required date.
* Managing returns to suppliers, ensuring the appropriate system transactions are carried out and appropriate paperwork completed.
* Establish the reasons for supplier delivery delays and ensure preventative measures are put in place for subsequent orders.
* Issue monthly supplier performance monitoring reports for OTIF.
Requirements to be a successful Parts Expeditor
* Previous experience as an Expeditor/Production Planner or Parts coordinator within a manufacturing environment.
* High organisational skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
* Ability to demonstrate appropriate levels of assertiveness whilst communicating both internally and externally.
Based from the company’s headquarters in Milton Keynes this opportunity will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to work with teams on a number of exciting projects within the automotive industry.
They have budgeted a salary of up to £35,000 for the role depending on experience, and the package would also include a Private Medical plan, a good holiday allowance growing with service and an option to join an Electrical Vehicle Sacrifice Scheme following the successful completion of your probationary period.
