Job Description:
Governance Lead - Bournemouth - 24 hours per week - Monday to Friday - £58,000 (full time equivalent)

As a Governance Lead, you will be at the heart of the organisation’s efforts, providing crucial administrative and governance support to the board of directors and the executive team. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring the charity operates smoothly, adhering to all statutory and regulatory requirements

Governance Lead duties include
* Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance are adhered to
* Oversee board meeting coordination
* Monitor legal compliance and maintain statutory records
* Act as a central point of contact and provide regulatory support for the Board
* Reporting safety and safeguarding incidents as and when required
* Assist with risk management and proactively maintain policies
* Taking responsibility for recruitment and onboarding of new governors and trustees
Experience and Qualifications required
* Previous experience in a similar company secretary / governance role
* A Degree in Law, Business or any related field
* ICSA or equivalent
