Assistant Headteacher
Permanent Role
Mansfield, NG20
Paid to Leadership Scale (Experience Dependant)

Are you an enthusiastic member of senior leadership who is looking for the next step in their career or an experienced assistant head looking for new challenge?
Due to expansion and company growth they now have an exciting new vacancy for a Deputy Head Teacher in their special school settings.
The successful candidate will be part of the schools Senior Leadership team, working closely with our Head of Schools and Heads of Area by providing dynamic and professional leadership and management to reflect the school’s vision, policy and practice.
Who are we looking for?
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) and experience of teaching in a primary school setting.
* Experience as either an assistant head or working as part of an SLT (NPQ an Advantage)
* Experience of leading on pupil premium and raising attainment for disadvantaged pupils.
* Experience of leading on behaviour management, and a strong commitment to ensuring that all pupils feel safe and supported.
* Experience of leading on curriculum development, and a commitment to ensuring that all pupils receive an engaging broad and balanced curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external agencies.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
