Are you an E-commerce professional looking to move into the private healthcare industry?
I am currently working with a private healthcare group specialising in the manufacturing of weighing solutions and surgical instruments which are distributed to the healthcare industry on a global scale. They are in an exciting period of growth with plans to add further companies in the near and mid term future and therefore are looking for an E-commerce expert to join the team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing a robust e-commerce system, developing and managing the company’s e-commerce website whilst ensuring seamless integration with their business system. The role is pivotal in driving online sales, enhancing customer experience and ensuring operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the company’s overall business goals.
* Evaluate and select e-commerce platforms and technologies that meet business needs, including CMS, payment gateways, and third-party integrations.
* Oversee the customization and configuration of the e-commerce platform to meet specific business requirements and enhance user experience.
* Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the timely and successful implementation of the e-commerce system
* Work with web developers, designers, and IT teams to build and maintain a high-performing e-commerce website.
* Implement SEO best practices and manage search engine marketing efforts to drive organic and paid traffic to the site.
* Ensure the e-commerce platform integrates seamlessly with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
* Streamline the order fulfilment process by integrating the e- commerce platform with inventory management and logistics systems.
* Ensure the e-commerce system complies with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and adheres to industry security standards.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on e-commerce metrics, including sales, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
* Analyse customer behaviour and feedback to inform strategic decisions and enhance the online shopping experience.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in e-commerce, business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
* Experience in e-commerce management, with a proven track record of successfully implementing e-commerce systems and driving online sales.
* Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce), web development technologies, and integration with business systems (ERP, CRM).
* Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
* A forward-thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
